Well, this year I made jewelry jars. I got the idea somewhere when I was looking around for better ways to store my jewelry. I love how it keeps my necklaces visible but protected, and it was a pretty quick project. In fact, the part of it that took the longest for me was locating tall jars with cork lids.
MATERIALS: -one glass pasta jar with a cork lid, at least 9" tall -10 1/2" cup hooks -some jewelry to put inside! | First take a hook and screw it into the cork so that the opening faces out and the hook comes right up to the edge of the cork but doesn't hang over the edge. | Then use a pen to draw a dot where the second hook should go, on the opposite side of the lid. |
